Canton Entrepreneur Launch provides grants to entrepreneurs who plan to locate new, high growth business ventures in the City of Canton. Canton Entrepreneur Launch is designed to create organic business growth by providing grants to startup businesses. These businesses must have the potential to attract additional growth capital, create substantial economic impact and develop job opportunities within the Canton community. Individuals with innovative ideas for a new business can submit an executive summary and business plan to the program.

Successful applicants must be selected and approved by the Canton Entrepreneur Launch commission in order to receive funding. The commission is comprised of members appointed by Mayor William J. Healy II, including representatives from JumpStart Inc., ystark!, Canton City Council and Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Canton Entrepreneur Launch is part of the JumpStart Entrepreneurial Network, a connected group of regional entrepreneurial support organizations. The Network gives entrepreneurs a place to start their search for support, providing them with the right resources at the right time to grow their businesses. The Network’s connectivity and single application process automatically provides applicants of the Canton Entrepreneur Launch access to other potential regional resources including pre-seed and seed funds, incubators and business advisors.
