Canton Entrepreneur Launch Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be located in or willing to relocate to City of Canton.
2. Must be deemed a high growth company by the Canton Entrepreneur Launch Commission with excellent prospects for raising additional growth capital in the future.
3. Special consideration will be given to companies in these sectors:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Biosciences
- Information Technology
- Green/Cleantech
4. Must meet all HUD eligibility requirements as set forth by the Community Development Block Grants.
5. Finalists must be willing to:
- Work with JumpStart-appointed Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR)
- Present a business plan to Launch Commission (if necessary)
6. Must use grant funds within two (2) years of award.
7. Agree to pay back Canton Entrepreneur Launch funds if business moves outside City of Canton within seven (7) years.
